There is a realm or dimension that is not normally seen and is not quantified by science. That realm is spiritual. Reading thru Scripture we get bits and pieces, that if put together, as a puzzle, we can get a view of a truth that is more real than the physical realm.

1. The vital principle or animating force within living things.
2. The general atmosphere of a place or situation and the effect that it has on people.
3. A fundamental and activating principle determining one’s character.
4. Any incorporeal super natural being that can become visible (or audible) to humans.
5. The state of a person’s emotions (especially with regard to pleasure or dejection).
6. The intended meaning of a communicator.
7. Animation and energy in action or expression.
8. An inclination or tendency of a certain kind.

Not something we can touch, smell, or taste; not necessarily what we can hear or see.

The unseen realm (World or Dimension)

We are so earthly bound that we do not see the realm where YHVH (the LORD) abides. In other words if it were not for the revealed Word of God we would probably be totally without knowledge of a spirit realm.

The Holy Spirit is the promised divine Helper … By the Holy Spirit, God inspired and illuminates the Scriptures… Evidence of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life is faith in Christ, obedience to God, and the spiritual fruit of love.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' 8 The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Righteous Angels (spirits) in Scripture

Angel(s) are mentioned 107 times in the OT and 180 in the NT (71 times in the Revelation)

Angels are not to be worshipped (Colossians 2:18; Hebrews 1:4, 5, 13; Revelation 19:10; 22:8, 9).

It is good to recognize the significance of angelic ministry, but any overemphasis upon their service to man is not desirable.

Heb 1:7 And of the angels He says, "Who makes His angels winds, And His ministers a flame of fire."

Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels has He ever said, "Sit at My right hand, Until I make Thine enemies A footstool for Thy feet"? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

Gen 19:1 Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. …5 and they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you tonight?

Gen 19:13 for we are about to destroy this place, because their outcry has become so great before the LORD that the LORD has sent us to destroy it."

Gen 19:21 And he said to him, "Behold, I grant you this request also, not to overthrow the town of which you have spoken.

Gen 19:22 "Hurry, escape there, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there." …

Matthew 16:27 (NAS) "For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and will then recompense every man according to his deeds.

Jude 1:14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied … "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."

Angels? Yes but remember…

Listen to and appreciate YHVH’s messengers

"‘He that hath ears to hear, let him hear,’ said the gracious Christ. If we did but listen with attentive ear we should catch the consonance of universal music. Nature is not dumb, 'tis we who are deaf. If we did but listen, we should hear the mute flowers singing their low, sweet melodies; and the tossing pines would chant for us a psalm; and even the very silence itself would have a voice for our inner ear, and a sacred message for our waiting hearts." Mark 4:24 And He was saying to them, "Take care what you listen to…"

Do you consider the Bible to be an absolute source of truth and divinely inspired? You are right. Do you think it is as important to have the Holy Spirit involved in your comprehension of it as was necessary to write it in the first place? Have you ever prayed; 'open this book to me because I can't get it on my own'? Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. The flesh cannot comprehend them. The attitude toward Bible study requires a greater level of humility, but you also know that Yeshua (Jesus) delighted in concealing the mysteries of the Kingdom from the wise and prudent and reveals them unto babes. Open His word and call on Him to open His word to you and He will. .
